NICEIC or NAPIT registration time

Does anyone know from recent experience how long it takes to get niceic domestic installer or napit equivalent? (Everything is in place including jobs to show the inspector)

I know no one can say for definate but recent experience would be nice if your in west yorkshire all the better!!

I think you can get registered with napit in just a few weeks if you pay the extra £30 - £40 for fast track registration.
Give them a call in the morning they will tell you for sure.

Hello and welcome Nathy Boy ! im with NIC think it took about 4 weeks but you could tell them your except a cancellation should one turn up ! i have heard of a case that one person had his within 4 days but thats pushing it ! still theres no halm in trying ! the reason im with NICEIC is most of my work demand NIC, i have told them theres a few schemes and their the same thing but no dice ! so i went NIC for that reason and most customers know who NIC are ! but you pays your money you takes your choice.

Depends on your work.

Been with NAPIT four years and never been asked "who are you registered with"

Working in police custody suites, commercial, insurance works, ..... just depends.

Thanks for the replies.

Spoke to napit and i could be registered within 2 weeks. Was waiting on niceic to call about their DI scheme but missed their call.

I just dont know who to choose! Nic have the kudos but napit cover domestic, commercial and industrial plus they can see me within 2 week.
