Signing the check year after yearAs long as you have everything to hand on their check list, the site visits arranged, what could go wrong.
Presumably the guidelines in England state that where you cannot work from home, you should go to work?In full lock down,he shouldn't be coming in your house until Dec 2nd?
If it's the first one, make sure you have all the things they need to tick off - complaints procedure, etc. The standard ones from the NICEIC site are fine.Any tips, got the NICEIC man coming.
My advice is keep talking to him and don’t pretend to know it all. They know the regs inside out and like the conversation especially telling you the correct/practical way of doing things, Tea and biscuits also helps ?If it's the first one, make sure you have all the things they need to tick off - complaints procedure, etc. The standard ones from the NICEIC site are fine.
They like to have a technical 'chat', so have a few examples up your sleeve of out of the normal situations you've run across, how you approached them and how you resolved them - shows that you are thinking and not just doing installation by numbers (or by OSG). Though obviously make sure you've not done anything naughty in the ones you pick!
I've started producing a CPD list for them - not currently required AFAIK, but it shows that I'm keeping up to date with things - and takes up a few more minutes explaining when he could be asking tricky questions!
Not sure how many CPD points browsing this forum gives you though? -2?
