Night Club House lights

Hi Guys, I am opening up a night club and the fire offiicer has come round and he states that i need lighting to come on when the fire alarm goes in to alarm

Currently i have some house lights Halogen downlights that are controled by a dimmer switch (Just like the ones at home!!) and i was wondering if an electrican could put a relay accross the dimmer!? so that they go to full brightness.

Your doing well, if that's all the fire officer asked for or picked-up on, for a night club installation ....electrically speaking that is!! lol!!

It's the reason I don't believe a word our OP says.

I did this years ago, I think it was the Aux terminals on the F.A.P. that dropped out the music (power to amps ) and brought lights on together.
Never done it again as we got bumped for some money at end of job so steer clear of bars and clubs now.
