I note also that the ONS have still to make an announcement over classifying the Feed In Tariff. Maybe the two silences are related?

Just spoke to DECC about this and they have informed me that they hope to make the announcement this month and that will mean the 40 day parliamentary period will start from the date of the announcement so technically the tariff won't change at the end of June...

Got an email back this morning saying that he's written on behalf of us and another disgruntled installer to the Secretary of State and he'll send the response as soon as he gets it.

What happened to the days of asking someone face to face what the hell is going on and the relaying the conversation. When I ran a team of 14 they weren't allowed to email each other they had to actually talk to each other.
