No overload protection.

Just a quick question.
What code for no overload protection. I know any live part to touch is code 1. Somebody as put rccb on shower and it hasn't got no overload protection apart from bullet fuse. Also fusewire bypassed. This is a landlords flat! I want to put code 1, but it only becomes dangerous if there is an overload so thinking code 2. I think code 1 makes them more inclined to take action!

code 2 is still an unsatisfactory outcome.

when decisions like this are made, this is when an EICR is in danger of ceasing to be a technical document based on BS7671 and becoming a document based on opinion only and therefore not suitable for purpose and possibly intentionally misleading.

You can't give a C1 from your description - but a C2 definitely - which is unsatisfactory.

Do the report and send the invoice - who cares about remedial work??
