Does anyone have any info on the arrangements for PV systems, such as connection requirements, building control and the Feed in tariff (if there is such a system operating) in Northern Ireland and Eire
any info would be great.......

Regs. for Eire are contained in Conditions Governing the Connection and Operation of Micro-generation document. Not much in the way of FIT now as only 9c per unit net metering. Any inverters have to be specific Irish settings. The process is a lot less complicated then UK as you simply get permission via one form and bang it up with an electricians installation sign off. Only Electric Ireland offer the FIT and you now have to pay for a smart meter (not smart). If you need the forms let me know.

Southern [?] Irish settings from BS EN 50438:2007
