just a story i thought id share

was rewiring a burnout in wandsworth with my mate in january when on the second day was a knock on the door. It was the lady next doors handyman saying all power was down to oneside of her kitchen and asked if it could be anything to do with us, told him shouldnt be but id have a quick look. went in there sure enough 20 amp radial tripping breaker unplugged everything tried to reset no good. weather was cold so put her boiler on a plugtop and told her i didnt have time that day to fault find but would do so if she could in a couple of days if she couldnt find an electrician.

upon getting her boiler running she gave me a parking permit saving me about 60 quid and said to me that over the past 5 years the electrics randomly tripped out whenever she plugged anything in!!. I told her she probably had a few problems and recommended a condition report to which her reply was...

''Oh no theirs nothing wrong with the electrics in here im a healer you see and the power of my aura interfers with electrical fields and i am extremely powerful at the minute''

anyway she got a spark in that day who told me there was a fault on a leg of 2.5 buried in the screed glad she didnt ask me back lol

wonder if she glows when stood under pylons?

I had a job today, take out old and fit new cooker (supplied by customer). so did the work, turned power back on, new cooker not working! so opened up the cooker switch to find the feed live was out of the connection, fixed this everything ok, so old cooker was probably ok all along

but might have been an idea though to test the cooker cable first...to see if theres any juice in it.....
