Notifiable install in a domestic

Newbie confused and needing some clarification on what I can or can't do and when.
I am trained and up to date to 17th edition, but not registered to a scheme.

How do I carry out a notifiable install in a domestic?

So I notify the local authority before works.
They inspect first fix
I complete and test
They inspect second fix and test documents

Job done??

That's how they do it in South Lincolnshire. Think some counties are different so you'd have to enquire to the LABC first.

They will proberbly appoint another contractor too inspect and test and charge you for the pleasure but get in touch with LBC and they will let you know their proceedure

Spoke to LBC with reference to a full bathroom rewire.
For that specific job they just want to visit on completion only and have a copy of the inspection cert. Plus £64

I got the impression they wanted the business and were pricing accordingly.
A job that size can easily stand it.
