I set up my company this year and want to make sure im doing this right do i just need to notify a job when i have added a new circuit or bonding or worked in a special location?

This is what i mean. Lets face it, if a punter calls you sating they need a socket or pendant replacing, are they going to be wanting to pay for how long it takes to do the job then test and certify properly??

No Income Tax / No VAT / No money back / No guarantee ........... (from Only Fools & Horses) ;)

Leaving a cert still wouldn't stop them screaming and shouting. It would take hours to explain to most customers that it was nothing to do with your work.

How many customers actually understand what all the numbers on any cert mean?

Agreed, but if they did escalate the issue without comunicating with the installer to someone that did have a clue it would leave your own reputation intact as you have done what it says on the tin :54:
