Having entered my sixties without any serious work injuries over the years, coming off ladders thee times but always onto a soft landing, drilling through a finger or two, I thought that now I live the quiet life, a bit of inspection a small amount of installation,that I would remain injury free. We acquired a dog, Jazz a saluki, who loves to run with other sight hounds, but at near 35 mph.
The last two days I've been dumped on my back by two 4 stone dogs arriving at somewhere near 30mph, I wonder if napit insurance will cover me, I might take ladders with me to get out their way. Title should read 61 reg

I did once try to stop a ten stone rottie that was running toward me, it just ran straight through me as if I was not there. My face broke my fall. The same rottie decided to walk into the greenhouse to lie down, I had just replaced the broken window he used as a door, it did not make any difference he just walked through it.

I now have a preference for lurchers and greyhounds, 30mph to settee
in 3 sec and have three of them at the moment although two of them have trouble getting near 30mph as they are too busy trying to kill each other or so it seems.

I am a couple of years ahead of you and it does not get easier, more inspections would be nice instead of hammering hell out of walls or earth stakes.

My local has a lovely, friendly Rottwieler. It broke two ribs for me just saying hello. I’ve broken them numerous times so they are weak anyway.

Anyone with a sighthound or lurcher would recognise that, rocket or asleep, four legs antenna for dog radio, but they are wonderful when they run,not so good if they spot rabbit, might have to Jazz dark glasses

Aye very true of Salukis we hear, but dead soft dogs, unless you are small and furry, great swatch when playing with other dogs, very fast
