Hi,

Currently working my way through my NVQ portfolio (Nearing Completion) but getting stuck on how to complete the following criteria due to not really doing them at my work. (I work in a reactive role completing works to fix the issues as they arrive, their isn't a great deal of formal planning as nearly always the works fall under the order not to exceed value so no quoting etc required. , Materials etc are ordered then return to carry out the works, complete a job sheet, detailing work, time and materials used etc.

Criterial to achieve is:

produce a planned programme of work for the fitting and fixing of wiring systems, wiring enclosures and associated equipment in accordance with
: a safe system of work
: co-ordination with other site services
: relevant regulations
: installation specification
: manufacturers' instructions

I believe the same programme of works can be used to meet more than one criteria (This is allowed in other parts of the NVQ so assuming the same here) but I don't really understand what this document should look like and at what point in the work process would this usually be completed.

My assumption is that it would normally be before works are undertaken as maybe a prerequisite for a quote to the customer? (as I said in my role we don't use anything like this)

Any help/tips/examples would be greatly appreciated, I have asked my tutor for guidance but it has yet to be received so wanted to try here, so as not to delay completing my portfolio. Googling throws up project manager/ scheduling type documents that I don't think this criteria is looking for.

Waiting on AM2 confirmation date but is looking like December so trying to button up the portfolio to allow me full concentration on that.

The main thing any assessor will look for isolation of the circuits to be worked on and checking the circuit is isolated, after that the rest is just common sense.
