NVQ Level 3

Just wondering if anyone could help with my situation.

Just passed 2330 level 2 and going onto the level 3 next year. I'm now working in the trade and my tutor said that I can also do the NVQ level 3 so ill be doing two courses in one year. I have looked around some sites and from what I have seen, you need the NVQ level 2. Rather confused so if anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it.

all depends on the assessor and what he feels you need to cover the scope of works. I had 4 jobs in my portfolio to cover it but I do know guys that have only used two. all depends like I say on the assessor and the types of jobs you are doing. have a word with your assessor and see what he wants off you

I had 4 vistis recently, two on a domestic rewire and two on a commercial rewire, other than answering the c&g questions it was just a case of adding some photos, all in all pretty simple and not as tough as i expected

From memory it was a minimum of two jobs covering different types of installation. There were also two site visits (first fix and second fix). Also the AM2. Also the Level 3 Technical Certificate.

Some questions perhaps (can't remember whether there were or weren't) and filling out whatever objectives.

Then your assessor will write "Competent" as opposed to "Not yet competent".

NVQ awarded.
