Hello fellow grafters

I've been working as a sparks for over 3 years now and want to get maximum qualifications. I did a previous course with the deceased Access 2 Trade Careers so have a few exams under my belt but nothing of the NVQ. I've been looking online and all the private courses are about 6k. Is there a cheaper way to qualify taking into account my previous experience and qualifications? I'm thinking college but don't want to start at the beginning again.

All advice welcome.
Thanks
