Hi, I own 30 Acres of land which is made up of different fields. I am looking to build a stable on one of the field and have this with off grid power. It will only be for lights and maybe a small appliance I.e. a Kettle. Where do I start and what products should I source?

80 watts of solar panel, charge controller and deep cycle battery for lights, use 12v leds no need for inverter.
calor gas bottle and burner for kettle unless you got plenty of money to spend.

How big is the planned stable, How many lights to do need ie. all of it lit up? How many stalls with a light over each? How many hours will you need lights to be on each each week. Will the stables be in clear air ie. no shading? Whereabouts in the country is it? How far from your house?
Once we know this we could assist. Throwing out numbers and kit specifications is pointless without this information. However using PV off grid with a kettle is to be avoided as it will use too much power for the benefit. There are better options.
