I just like what I like, no particular era apart from Punk, because I was 16/17 when it started and I went to countless gigs.
I saw Sex Pistols before Dillb was born!
Mainly a Heavy Metallist these days.

My claim to fame is in the early 70's I used to go to my then boyfriend's house before we were wed, and see Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne sitting in their front garden playing their guitars. My friend was engaged to Jeff for a few months before his career took off and he saw sense! :37: later on, in the early 90's Roy used to come into the garage for petrol where I worked and actually asked me out for a drink! I was so gobsmacked I didn't go............ :censored:

Archy whats your personal thoughts on Coming Back to Life? A lot of people say its a slit the wrist morbid song, but its personally one of my faves.

To be honest, I've never heard it.
I think I've only heard one track of that album, the one they always play whatever it is.
The last Floyd I bought was The Final Cut when it came out, a depressive, nihilistic effort (I thought at the time!)


Re Coming... just listened to it, too bland for me, can't be arsed listened to the lyrics!


Now, Syd Barrett, two great albums! especially the 2nd one.
