I have a house rewire starting on the 19th, the owner is a university lecturer and has agreed/allowed a Trainee/Student to use this install for their NVQ3 evidence. (very nice lady and believes in education).

This is not a bog standard rewire and the amount of evidence you can compile should complete around 80% of your portfolio! Quick break down of what sections you can complete:-

Cable:- T&E, FP200, SWA, Cat6, Alarm cable, Telephone.

Standard house rewire + relocation of CU, SWA run to garage so also a sub DB to install and garage to wire, SWA for garden lighting, interlinked smoke/heat detectors, alarm system, data network to install, telephone master socket to relocate and extend to other points.

Other little things to do as well but you get the idea. If you are in the Leeds area and finding it hard to compile your NVQ evidence, here is your chance. All I ask is you give me and another mate a hand, in return I will take photo's of you, show you how to install circuits to a high standard, help you write up your report and sign off your witness statement.

This is offered in the TS first, I'll leave it in here until the 20th then offer it in the NVQ Feed back section if I dont have any takers.

If interested please send me a PM. If you have any questions just post them up.

To add to this... A CCTV system in my own house. Easy cable runs, bit of tall ladder work but it will add to your portfolio.

ps there is great Cafe just down the road, hope your not vegetarian?
