Does anyone know if these two ports on this motor are for oil? (the ones at each end, not the two holes in the middle)
Thanks

Almost, it's a Myford M series. Although that could be the same as a Super 7! I don't know!

Well worked out form the picture though!
Ive only just got it, it seems pretty good.

Good old 3 in 1 or whatever. Don't over do it otherwise it will get in to the motor windings. As snowhead said, just a couple of drops.
Looks like a Brooks Gryphon, don't abuse it, probably as old as me.

looking at the oilers, i would say they are for oil. grease ones are generally nipples. they're probably phosphor bronze shell bearings as opposed to ball races .

Phosphur bronze sleeve bearings if you want to be fussy.

Last time I saw shell bearings on a motor it was 2500HP. Of all things the recomended oil for them was B44 transformer oil. Don't ask me why, but they had been running quite happily on it for 20 years.
