I sold a quantity a few months ago and agreed to drop it off at the guy's house. Saw that he was doing a lot of work on his house, asked him why he wanted the old colours. He knew all about Part P and said he was replacing some old wiring and adding some lighting etc. and he wanted it to look like it had been there a long time. I felt a bit bad....like I was encouraging a DIYer....for all I know he might burn his house down or fry himself. Then again, he could have bought it from anyone...and it did fetch a handsome price....

Let's face it, that's the only reason someone would want the old colours.

If it was available at the same price, I'd use it. Brown, black, grey for line?; what's that all about!

As it happens, I still have a load of old RYB 1mm² 3-core & earth, which I use use for lighting and, particularly, central heating controls.
