Hi guys,

I've got a job to do soon that has 98 odd MR16 downlights in a canopy the downside is only 30 are being replaced leaving 60 ish to cover over down so I need an idea to cover them!! Best thing I can think of is a conduit lid and make 2 little brackets to sit in there to tighten up but this isn't going to sit flush!!

Anyone got any ideas or done this before?

Thanks Jamie

Apology accepted Adam I was just about to start beating my chest!

Best Thing I can think off is over size conduit box lids and for the fixing I would use domed wood screws into a narrow piece of timber , I would fix one screw in place loosely before putting it in place and then install second screw before tightening the first screw , I think I have done this before somewhere ,,,

Forgot to mention , I also had to loop a bit of wire around the wood to hold down until second screw bites ,,
