Hi all, anybody come across these mem mcbs. Don't know what type they are. All it has on them is 3871 part 1. Apologies for the picture will upload a better one tommorow. cannot even find anything on Google or eBay.

Exactly my only option would be to take worst case senario and they are all type 4. But my max zs would exceed on pretty much every circuit. Limitaion on test sheet as type cannot be verified
 
As a guess (I know, I know ;) ) they are possibly type 1, looking at the part number it has the Amp rating, then the type and then two letters example; 5 1 EG, I don't suppose MEM themselves are any help ?
 
The number 1 is just to denote that the device is single phase..
This type of denotation is still in use today.. 1 being single phase and 3 being 3 phase..
I would say that the devices are either type 1 or type 2.. The easiest way to find out would be to carry out a quick load test.
Is there a M number on the side? This denotes breaking capacity..
