Still have my first pair of proper snips. Not old only 3 years old but blown to hell
Bit of a reminder with my new found wisdom :D

Got given my granddads old metal tool box with electric keys, chisles, wooden handled screwdrivers and a push, self spinning screwdriver amongst other bits.

I started my apprenticeship in 1956 and still have some of my first tools. Rawlplug tools and all sizes of bits, feather splitter, pliers, BIB wire strippers. 6 in. and 9 in. footprint pliers. I still have some 50 50 rawlplugs and no.3 screws we used to fix the old LC cables.
Now you are talking dude, sorry watching some stupid film about old men "Wild Hogs" Anyone still got any of those Stanley wooden handles screwdrivers with the strips of insulating material just before the blade, I bought one on ebay cus I'm a tool tart, augers with the hole for a handle, 2pound hammer and a 3" bolster for chasing, kids today huh, rock on boys, keep the faith, carpet bags, none of your Veto Pro pack XL Stanley Fat max shoulder bags with a pocket for your body spray, sorry having a meltdown, old age crisis moment.

Ok then how many Sparks on here used to use a Yankee screwdriver???
Remember mate of mine once using one to put saddles in on a concrete ceiling and he managed to pump it into his finger OUCH...... amusing though

how about this baby. 1934. 4 ranges but only 1 scale (750V)so x factors on label in lid.

Sandvik Hacksaw must be 30 years old now as well as the Elliot Lucas tools as as others have mentioned PYRO tools, mainly crimping and potting as I made my own stripping tools, or just used a large screwdriver (the joys of 6ft tails on a 7 core) also never throw tools away, I did give my Yankee away though with obligatory hose clip on it to stop it rolling of a mobile platform.

I'm only a youngin but the Oldest tool I have in my tool kit is my eclipse 40PG hacksaw, with the solid frame, much much older than me! Also have an eclipse padsaw which takes broken hacksaw blades.
