Old Wylex plug in MCB

Anyone know the BS number for the old Wylex plug in MCB?It plugs into a 3036 holder and has a round concentric button for reset.Thanks.

Not sure, mate.

I have a couple of 'Proteus' ones and all it says on them is -

'Complies with BS 3871 Pt 1'

Most of the ones that I see are BS 3871 with a Short Circuit Capacity of between 1 and 3 kA

Old push button ones and early 'switch' type were 3871. Later switch type are 60898.

Depends on age, but PC Electrics is spot on in my opinion. If it looks fairly shiney and new it's most likely a 60898. BS numbers and kA ratings should be written or embossed on the side of the breaker though if you have it to hand.
