Open end to end readings on ring main on rn r2 - where should this go under in schedule of inspections
using napit software doing a DEICR
C2?

There is no specific observation for ring circuit continuity.

You could maybe use "connections soundly made..." Under. 5.17.

Reg. 643.2.1 applies.

It's not the result of an inspection but of testing so the Schedule of Inspections isn't relevant to the observation.

im on the napit fast test certificate so doesnt show that
Ah ok. Have you got:
5.5 Adequacy of cables for current-carrying capacity with regard for the type and nature of installation (Section 523)

As effectively you have two undersized radials hanging off a B32.

The fault has been identified as warranting a C2.
No further investigation required.
Future fault finding with a view to correcting a fault is not the same thing as FI.
Valid point, and i see where you're coming from. ?

I was also reminded of this yesterday, focussing on coding the fault not the fix seems to make it clearer in my befuddled brain...
(In my case high Zs on lighting circuit at every point)
