Hi all,

I have recently had an offer of a job working for Mitie in a maintenance role.
Just wondering if anyone has previous experience with the company?
Operations?
How they treat staff etc etc.
I am still completing my training and would be looking for good career progression.

Many thanks

All the Mitie employees I've had dealings with in the past seemed happy enough. Massive company with a multitude of trades and disciplines with contracts worldwide. Good chance of career progression with them.

i worked for them for nearly 2 years doing PIR's on commercial premesis, although the job itself was not good the company was excellent, if it fits what you want in a job then go for it mate, not many job offers on the cards at the moment.

If it would help I would be happy to help you to talk with some of the current MITIE team. Let me know what part of the business has made you the offer. My e-mail address is [email protected].

Have a good weekend

i currently work for mitie and generally they are a good company. regards pay i have never had any issues with getting paid monthly (just never enough!) my gripes with them are chronic lack of communication from management to staff and over zelous use of trackers they have in all their cars (except management cars!!!!) one manager i know has serious issues keeping his staff as he is such a pain watching the tracker all day the saddo
hope this helps

Just left do not go into them you will be pushed to fake documentation sign off jobs which you know are incomplete so they can get the billing in before month end.
mitie base there success on there kpi figures and as such at the end of every month there is always a drive round and shut jobs down day hat way the managers look good, the shops we look after are in a terrible state but that kpi says 90% or better so they all think they are great.
They got slung out of there biggest refit contract this year because they priced it wrong, they pay agency staff at night a fortune and there own staff crap.
all of the above is just a sample of provable mitie rip offs.
you will also get sick of the paperwork and PDA tracker arrangement they track the van and your PDA separately honestly they have better information on you than an f1 team on a qualifying lap
