If I come in ****ed and trip over the dog can I sue wor lass? It could be helicopters and Ferraris lads. If I can't I'll just have to settle for strangling her

She's blaming the bloke for not turning the lights on. Is Plod not issued with a torch nowadays? They seem to have everything except the kitchen sink chained to their belts, surely there's room for a torch !!!

Even a high kerb mate, come on ffs it's not like it's hiding behind a bush is it?

Maybe she couldn't see it hiding under her overhanging belly?

There were street lights over said area, and the forecourt lights were on.
if she can't see a kerb, she should go to specsavers.

In those circumstances mate if she couldn't see the kerb she shouldn't be in the job. Crikey man these people are supposed to be observant

I flatly refused to accept the guys reasoning/instructions/guidelines on my last 'working at heights' 'hand tools' 'access platforms' 'overhead cranes' assessments.

I was told to wear a harness and a hard hat as soon as one of my feet left the floor and have 3 points of contact on a ladder.............reasoning behind it is I could trip/fall and bump my head and get killed ! Yeah he has a point !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Final conclusion after our discussions.................if I want to do my job against his instructions I need to get 'special' dispensation.........in writing......from my safety officer.

So................I need to drill into office walls now with rawl bolts to fix an eye bolt to secure my harness when fixing a light or an air con unit and wear a hard hat in an office with a 10ft ceiling max?

mmmmmmmmm
