Outside meter boxs ????

As a electrician how do we stand when the outside meter box lid is broken - missing ?

If I am doing an EICR I state equipment is exposed to the elements.

Don't know why they make them out of such material - the majority are hanging off within the first year of, as Westy said, "exposure to the elements".
If they could make meter boxes out of the material they use for wheely bins, they'd survive storms, tornadoes and the odd bored scrote! Rant over!
