Hi all, new 2.5kw oven and 7kw hob, existing 6mm 32a supply to 45a cooker unit, now no access to socket circuit or new supply for oven, so 6mm into cooker switch then from load side to new FCU 13a with 6mm, then 2.5mm to oven?
Will I get x2 6mm into outgoing side of cooker switch?

Unless I keep 45a cooker unit and feed down to a dual appliance plate, then 6mm to FCU?

OK?
Thats just a statement of fact, it doesn't explain your thought process behind saying that you wouldn't connect it to the cooker supply.

Thats why I’m asking on here? I’ve been taught to make sure your cable exceeds the rated overcurrent device eg in this instance fuse/mcb so why I said hob fine on the 6mm then oven on 13a FCU

Well the flex on the oven is only 1.5mm

I know it’s a fixed load but don’t like the idea of 10a oven on the 32a supply, just looking for some advice really if you can then if someone can explain to me
I would. The oven max load is 2.5 kW, say 11A, that’s without applying diversity. ccc of 1.5 flex 15A. What’s there not to like?

That’s the final circuit cable. Perhaps a teeny flex on a table lamp, could be fused down.

So 32a breaker 6mm supply to 45a cooker switch 6mm out to dual appliance outlet, 4mm flex to 7kw hob, 1.5 flex to oven

that would be fine, but you could have a problem getting good connections with the 1.5mm flex in terminals designed for 6.0mm.
