Now.... In the many years iv been in this industry I have seen a oven and a hob share the same 6.0mm cable.

I was asked today if it was possible to come off a oven supply a day run a 6.00mm cable to a fcu and for the fcu to a gas hob used for ignition of course.

I was thinking as long as the fuse is rated correctly to protect the 2,5mm and the totsl load does not go over the rated MCB ect.

Has anyone used this before,?

Ive never done this before,mainly because I wouldn't want the potential current of a 6 mm cable burning out a 2.5mm :)
