Is there any could explaine or give me some imformation regarding my 700kw genset w/ckt breaker has an over current trip setting of 125 percent.what will be the actual minimun tripping current level be?PF is 0.85

This is available on some breakers, it allows a time delay of a short duration to allow starting currents etc to diminish!! It's a bit more complicated than that however, as the 125% will apply to the setting on the adjustable over current parameter dial. ( Eg .... if an adjustable 100A breaker was set to 80A, then the 125% would apply to that setting and not to the 100A.) There will also be other adjustable parameters on your breaker that could/will also affect the tripping characteristics of this breaker, which is why i asked for the make and model number of your breaker....

Hope that makes sense to you, i'm in the middle of doing other things here at the moment, so this is a bit of a rush description...lol!!
