Hi All,
I am looking into completing a part p course to get qualified so I can do small electrics along with the plumbing and gas that I have already been doing for 9 years, I would like to be able to supply wires to boilers move or fit any electrics in bathrooms or anything that comes along with the plumbing jobs I already do.
Is the part p course all I need to do?
once I'm qualified would I need to re sit this course at any time in the future
once I'm qualified what tools would I need to invest in and can you advise how much these would these would approximately cost?
I should imagine I will need to register every year how much would this cost?
is there any other course you think I would need to do like 17 edition etc.
also I would like to learn how to wire up external boiler controls from the junction box or any wiring that comes with fitting or replacing boilers if anyone could point me in the right direction to learn this.
I have taken a break in plumbing am working on offshore wind turbines with a shift pattern which allowes me enough time off to do courses whilst earning a wage.
I am booked onto a 3 week tiling course so I can tile the bathrooms I fit
I am looking to do any electrics that comes along with plumbing
I think having two extra skills will keep me busy self employed once I get back into it.
If you think of any other courses or skills I could gain please advise me.
I thank you all in advance for people who are kind enough to share some information with me.
