My location is London, i travel to the Middlands quite a bit as well.

Hi, what books do i need, i have test equipment, need to sort insurance out, then im wondering what provider to go with whats Napit like, oh and thanks for the reply people.
Do the books have to be recent books.

i have 17th edition/ GN3 its about 5 years old/ Health and safety mem again 4 to 5 years old/ on site guide 17th/ some niceic books 17th Ed Help line17th toolbox GuideDomestic intallation guide/ Electrical installers guide to the Building Regs/ Snags and solutions Earthing and bonding Part1/Inspection and testing 4th edition.
IEE Electricians guide to Emergency Lighting new/IEE To Fire Detection and Alarm Systems/IEE Part P Building regs/IEE Calculations for Electicians Designers.
Christopher Kitcher/The Part P Doctor Alan Lynch.
Stage 1 Design M Doughton/ Intermediate Scince, J N, Hooper/ The Importance of Quality, M Doughton/ IEE Electrical Maintenance/ Lighting Systems, E,G,Patterson..
Are these books any good, for registration.

You are going to need the new 17th (green book). New on-site guide and NEW gn3 all coming out august

Napit are good mate. friendly service and you can do everything you can with the NICEIC
 
Sorry to jump on your post but im currently going for my nic, who are you thinking of going with everyone ive asked said napit or nic so chose the nic as everyone recognises it on the vans
 
No insurance, No Scheme and No Tester other than a 3 pin polarity thingy!!

ford focus with roof rack and no MOT,

dont see what the fuss is...!!

would help i say how much...believe it or not £60

I pay £64 with trades direct £2m PLI, and £1000 all risks tool cover, £5000 personal injury cover, and a few other bits an bobs. Dont even have an excess now cos i have been with them for a year or 3 with no claims.
