That was a joking reference to a blooper from the Star wars movie and I think just about everybody knows that one, thats why I put it on here lol for a laugh as it was supposed to sound silly michelle 2909....and 3.26 light years is not that far in the grand scale of things, since the radio and television broadcasts from 1982 when the falklands was on the go will now be only 28.5 lightyears away and thats 8.742331288 parsecs, a total distance of 1.661E14 miles away.....the nearest star to us on earth is Alpha centuri and at 4.2421 lightyears these signals would have reached and passed this in early 1987.....so if you were out there right now and curious as to what was happening here on earth, the TV and Radio signals you would be picking up would be from mid 2006....
There are Radio transmissions dating back some 100 years in any meaningful form, when you multiply that by 5.8785E12 miles that is a long way, near on 600 Trillion miles, if theres anything 100 lightyears away it will be another 100 years before it/they pick up whats being broadcast just now, by this time humans will probably have kicked the long range intergalactic bucket by way of either war or famine....

Im just looking into this myself as i have now started providing PAT testing in Leeds. Its not the cost that can be a problem but as others are mention, they have to be of high quality and to your liking which can be hard to achieve when you consider trying to get all that information on one label which is consistant on all your lables across the board. It might not be an issue with the larger labels but for the small plug top type, i think there may be a struggle to get anything worth paying for on there and the more you spend on lead tags etc rather than labels, your prices are going to have to rise. Unless you are considering PAT testing on a full time or good scale, it may not be worth it but im weighing it up now.
