when pat testing my dishwasher on insulation res i get low reading of 1M ohm does this comply?

Not sure to be honest, my tester has settings for all sorts of different items and it passes or fails! I don't do too much PAT testing because its rather boring.

modern dishwashers ( unlike mine which has 2 arms and a bottle of fairy ) have electrinic modules which usually gives rise to a small amount of leakage. 1Meg. is good.

Just plug it in, dishwashers don’t use a lot of power and I have never seen a plug burn out on one.

Personally it would annoy me having to use adaptors all the time. Can't you buy a proper UK one?
