I think we all need to remember that even though we are all electricians, our everyday work work varies alot!

As a PAT engineer, I am usually referred to as a 'socket monkey' by electricians until they realise that by using me they never have to PAT again!!!

Good to see that you throw that in along with your service as alot can happen in 5 years between fixed wire tests.

Was just curious to see what test you actually done.

At the end of the day we all our preferences with what work we like to get ( stripclub rewires), but i cant help but think that any electrician is capable of a PAT test. Am not trying to be funny omega good luck

Got a mate who used to be a plumber before several years earning all our taxes sitting on his arse all day, got a job now tho with a pat testing firm, 1 day course, bobs your uncle now go and plug things into your machine and press the button, tedious if you've got a lot of other work on, nice little earner otherwise i reckon
