I need to do some pat testing 2000+ items, in a hotel. any one know whats needed qualifiction wise? to satisfy insurance companies.

PAT testing......

Make sure your batteries are OK.
So when you is nipping from room to room slapping them stickers on, if someone collars you, you can show them your instrument is on and you is actually doing some testing!!!!

Make sure you fail the occasional object, gives a bit of authencity about what your doing.
 
We charge a ÂŁ1.25 an item, massivley over-priced i think because we hardly ever get anywork but thats because we don't want it. You occasionally get the odd customer that for some reason thinks ure the best priced and have the unfortunate ballache of going to actually do it, but thankfully not often :)

P.S. I know its not wise to advertise company pricing stratergies on forums full of work hungry sparks, but please, i insist - better it!
 
When 'Testing' (hahaha) class 2 apps 2 core with an inline switch, with switch off, with ones neon thingy (can;t remember what they're called) downstream of the switch, if it don't light up...no need to open the plug!
