I have a Megger PAT4dv its bomb prof and after 10mins practice a doddle to use - only downside - it was 650.

I bought it as I have an MFT1553 for my electrical work and that is a great bit of kit.

I actually don't see how you can make a living from PAT testing, I like to think I am pretty clued up, I have 2330, 2391, 2377 etc etc but I have never been able to do more than 10 items an hour unless its just extension leads.

I also provide full paperwork certification including, appliance register / QA traceability report / the cert and guidance notes so that adds another 30 mins to the job....

You've answered your own question, i have no interest in adding 2377 to my ever expanding qualification numbers, far too many cowboys/production lines churning out items at 50-99p, **** that

:50: :50::50:

I need a bigger belt to put my qualifications under, no need for 2377, ha! ha! ha!

You've obviously spent an extra day adding 2377 to your DISQ, well done

Give me one good reason why I'd need 2377
Read my post again. I am only speaking for myself (probably a bit louder) and don't understand why it offends you in particular.

Slow down mate! If you don't like it, move on. It's not mandatory that you reply to every post on this forum.

I really don't understand why you are so overjealous and grumpy! Get some help.

Cheers!

Yes I did the one day this was so I could add the 2377 qual to the QA report I provide to customers.

Now before you jump all over that statement in what appears to be your incredibly pugnacious manner I will explain that having come from an original background where ISO9000 etc is the standard then you need to hold full traceability in documentation and providing a defined relevant qualification provides this fully without any confusion. Just because a 2330 qual is far better for understanding what your are doing than the 2377 one day course does not mean it is pointless doing the one day course. The 2330 does not really dwell at any length on the code of practice.

Personally it would annoy me having to use adaptors all the time. Can't you buy a proper UK one?
