Good morning every1

I'm new to forum and this is my first post so go easy on me.

Just a basic question for all you intelligent people, I'm doing an eicr On a communal installation which contains an office, I need to turn power off to test ring main which has a patch panel plugged in, if I turn off will it just reset back to normal.

get the manager to organise logging the computers off the server. it should re-boot automatically when power is restored.

the server must be shut down first aswell as logging off the comps

Get in touch with their Manager/IT Manager to do it for you as it will more than likely require a password or two to log on again!

^^ correct , 9 times out of 10 you get away with cutting the power and its fine comes back up no bother but if it goes wrong , it really goes wrong
