I'm sure by my signature alone most can probably tell what my stance is on strikes and how I believe they are a neccassary part of a society that willfully allows our government to bend us over daily and violently shaft us up the brown!!

Thatcher did more damage to this country than we will ever be able to recover from by breaking the power of the unions! They are all we once had to ensure a good days pay for a good days work.

Granted Scargill was a pompous prat, but Thatcher was the devil in human form!!!

partially agree with you there, but when thatcher came to power, the unions (not those that had the best interests of their members as an agenda) were holding the country to ransom. i remember rubbish piled on the streets because dustmen wanted more wages than us sparks. and they knock off at lunch time.
