paxalin

hello

can you use any other material instead of paxalin to go between trunking and top of dbs?

Difficult one, whatever is delivered to site for this purpose always gets called paxolin although it probably isnt anymore!
To be honest, I usualy use 50mm Bushes and couplers, or just 50mm bushes and lockirings with a couple of lockrings between board and trunking, Looks neat but more importantly spaces it of better then paxolin :)

How bloody weird is this - I swear to God that I was only thinking the over day, why you never see paxolin used anymore!!! Everyone just uses bushes and lock-rings these days.
Much cheaper option; and it doesn't look bad either!!!
IMO there is nothing more unsightly than badly cut paxolin - but then again, my missus has walked out on me from a restaurant before. And all because I had a row with our waiter over the 'state' of the conduit in the restaurant.
I think that I may even have mentioned this in a post a couple of weeks ago.
