hello

can you use any other material instead of paxalin to go between trunking and top of dbs?:confused:
 
Difficult one, whatever is delivered to site for this purpose always gets called paxolin although it probably isnt anymore!
To be honest, I usualy use 50mm Bushes and couplers, or just 50mm bushes and lockirings with a couple of lockrings between board and trunking, Looks neat but more importantly spaces it of better then paxolin :)

How bloody weird is this - I swear to God that I was only thinking the over day, why you never see paxolin used anymore!!! Everyone just uses bushes and lock-rings these days.
Much cheaper option; and it doesn't look bad either!!!
IMO there is nothing more unsightly than badly cut paxolin - but then again, my missus has walked out on me from a restaurant before. And all because I had a row with our waiter over the 'state' of the conduit in the restaurant.
I think that I may even have mentioned this in a post a couple of weeks ago.
