hmmmnz

hey guys where can i download the paperwork for this,
appently its on the British Standards Institute site,
but ill be buggered if i can find it...
grrr :D

cheers

cheers bud, but thats still not what im after..
im after the periodic inspection cert like this
cheers for the link though :D
its for flat/houses that are getting rented out, i need to provide a copy to the agency and also to the owner

as someone who does inspection testing certification:)D)ive just taken a look at the link ;
if you want to fill out a proper and serious form its all there .Have fun

Looks like less information than a Doctors sick note than a proper Pir
Acceptance and issue of these sort of things are not good for the future of the trade
I'm sorry to say
They may have a role as advise notes for changes since a recent proper pir cert only

I take it you did see the schedule of inspections and test results in that bundle...i think thats what you getting at Des but not 100% sure:confused:

gee, far too many legistrative bodies in the uk thats for sure :D
we have 1 in nz, and thats it, they make all the regs, issue electrical registration,
do the exams, and decide what the apprentices have to do,
there is 1 exam for electricians, 1 limited licence(for alarm and phone techs) and 1 for instrumentation techs. and thats it :D
1 set of paper work :D 1 set of rules :D
easy as pie,

again cheers for your help again,

The IEE are the people who write the 16/17th Edtion Requirements for Electrical Installations which is similar to the Aus/NZ regs which you are used to.
