Pet Hates ( Excluding Customers)

as title. let's have some of you pet hates with the trade.
I'll start off with a couple:

1. Captive screws that fall out and get lost when nothing in your parts stock will do.
2. terminal screws that you can't see the head and need to tighten by feel ( many ceiling roses are this).

Redundant unidentifiable live wiring and equipment. Outdated schedules, diagrams and charts in large industrial/commercial premises.

Rain soaked building sites
Whingers
Arrive on site and the Boss/Project manager say's "right where do we start then Lads/Lasses"Don't know sheet from Sugar some of them, waste of space and fresh air.

Logging time against six or so jobs a day with seperate times for travel and mileage. When it's already logged on a job sheet.

Idiot Bosses/managers/directors who try to tell people who have successfully been doing the job for ages, that they have bee doing it all wrong. never having lived in the real world

Trying to do terminal screws to specified torque settings to find the screw is made of tinfoil and cams out before you get there.
Dry liners that can't cut the bloody right sized hole for you metal back box so when you screw the socket back it disappears into the wall, (especially annoying with streamers flat plate)

Brass bushes & swa gland that are so thin these days.
Site Managers that implement H & S in such are over the top manor that makes the job impractical.

Customers that either a/ Don't offer you a cuppa for ages if at all b/ stand watching and talking b0llocks when you're doing something fiddly and need to concentrate or c/ ring you up during the day when you're really busy and want to talk in painful detail about something trivial. And wiring accessories with stupidly shallow terminals.

Perhaps the fact that manufacturers of link lights are in competition to design the most useless fixings.

Cost me an effin fortune.
Wife and daughter used to own one, (crippling)....now have one on a loan...(nearly as crippling).
Cows? Don't even think about going there.
