Just wondered what people pet hates were whilst working. I'll start us off.

- Electricians who refer to rough wiring as "illegal"
- Plasterers who fill back boxes up with plaster and don't clean them out
- faulty back box lugs

Theres plenty more but I don't want to sound too miserable.

Mine at the moment are slapdash decorators painting all over face plates etc and making new installs look she-ight....haven't you got 60 spare seconds to loosen the plate and mask it off.......and today it was Halotite 150VA trannys that kindly have a loop out on the 230V side but no room whatsoever to terminate neatly due to the carp positioning of the terminals with the N's together and the L's together.... Bloody idiots!

Oh, and plumbers going completely mental with insulation tape on y plan wiring. Just buy one of the purpose made enclosures n do it properly....ffffs...

Bi Polar customers. I can't work for people who are very happy with my work one minute and screaming and shouting at me the next.
It reminds me too much of my first marriage.

People who can't drive:
Going through red lights.
Speeding
Obviously drive quite a bit for their job but can't be bothered to get a 'hands free' kit and drive around with their phone to their heads.
Driving in the middle lane on the motorway when the left hand lane is free.
Driving 12" from your bumper cause you are driving at the speed limit. (it's good to slow down just a bit if this happens. This may make me a bad driver....)
BMW drivers. Do I need to say anymore....
Can't be bothered to indicate.

I'm stopping now, before I get wound up.....

flick switch wired in parallel with the brake light switch is a nice deterrent.

It's also good to see the expression on the drivers face when, instead of driving faster, you slow to 28. They are not happy.
