Well he has posted a couple of unnecessary and derogatory comments aimed at the Asian community recently so I would assume that is what he's been banned for.

It is of course only my opinion of the comments, someone else made similar comments too and I thought they both were a bit off.
But it's nothing compared to the spiteful bile you have to put up with on sites so I thought no more of it, assuming a mod would have a quiet word at worst.

Just to add, I really rate Pete and wasn't actually serious about my previous post, I don't believe for a minute Pete did anything other than post banter at worse, he is one of the best.

That is what I said in the identical thread I started, he comes across a a nice , respectful wise old chap, so it amazed me that he would warrant a Ban.

Depends what part of Asia you're talking about really, if a potential customer is from the Indian Subcontinent, then they're almost certainly going to be a complete pain in the arris and I'd rather not work for them.

I though part of the deal was if your banned an E-Mail is sent to tell you why.

Like others I’m surprised if Pete overstepped the mark.

That is i believe the standard method on just about every forum i know of, it's also a common courtesy.

But then again no-one here has ever bothered to tell me why i can't even see the +3000 forum let alone able to read or post in it.......

A notification was sent when the infraction was given. 7 days is just a standard infraction, hopefully Pete doesn't take it personally, what was posted wasn't acceptable.
