wondering if anyone has had this problem before and could give me advice.?
Did an install 12 months ago. installed two pillar lights controlled by a photocell and a feed for electric gates . supplied from isolator in garage all in armoured cable to MK weatherproof enclosure 6 amp to gates 3 amp for lights. photocell for lights.
the lamps are 30w megamans. worked fine.
Got a call from customer RCD tripped in house was reset. lights didnt come on at dusk.
Went there replaced photocell, that night tripped 3amp breaker.
Went back checked insulation resistance of circuit ( 99.99 ) . Changed photocell again ( Brand - Finelite ). Funcional test worked as it should.
Got call next lights had tripped 3amp Mcb again after about 2 hours. so went back out changed breaker for 6amp . worked fine.
got call next day tripped again that night as before.
Went back changed lamps for osrams energy savers still tripped that night.
Running out of ideas ? anyone got any suggestions?
