Went for a week in the lakes with the family a few weeks back. Not a bad looking place at all.......

That scenery is pretty similar to Cape Town southern suburbs. Are the lakes in the pictures near Kingston?

Good eyes Archy... you obviously know the place well
Was our first time up there but I can safely say that if we can squeeze in a week up there every year, I'll be a well happy man.

Marvo, pics 2 and 3 are around Keswick in the lake district, and pic 1 is just south west of there.

Quite well, been many times over the years from living in Leeds and Manc.
I legged it over that hill from the village, around the tops and back down a few years back.
Right knee screaming for beer!
