Is it OK to put an RCD on its side / upside down physically provided it is wired properly?
I've never seen one that was not upright.

Probably not a problem for the device to work correctly
However, the manufacturers instructions should be followed and one thing to consider is the ability to read any instructions or labels correctly.

No, how will the current know which to go if put in on is side. Lol.
Silly buzz, if you put it upside down, you swap the in and out connections, the electricity will then flow downhill properly??

What if the current does not won't to go there, it made its mind up that bloody Eddie current.
It would be all at sea, riding on top of a wave , and disappear down the plug hole.

If you lay on your back you can read the labels no problem.

what's allthe fuss? RCDs work in Australia,so electrons don't care. up or down it's all the same to them. too small and lightweight to be affected by gravity. also they move that fast, the centripetal force overcomes any gravitational forces. electrons rule, KO?
