Guys I need some advice please

We did a PIR for a landlord, it threw up two code 1's resulting on the Estate agents refusing to let the propery until sorted.

The work is now complete.

What paperwork can I give to the estate agent to prove the installation is safe?

Is there a notice of compliance?

The landlord lives in NZ so everything is thru the agents

Cheers

The EIC or MWCs should be appended to the PIR to show that the work recommended in the PIR has been carried out.
You could if you can get the agent/landlord to pay for it, conduct another PIR. Put in the reason for the report, as being inspection following rectification work, or something similar.

I agree if work has been carried out even if it is to correct a Pir then depending on the work minnor works or full Eic has to be issued preferably indicating reason for works and failures of previous pir and recomending when you believe another pir to be undertaken.

I know ime thick but I've never heard of observations and recomendations document can you enlighten me further?

I may be wrong with my first post. I've had a think about it and I believe you need to do another test on the circuits that have been corrected (of course) and fill out a new PIR cert as per normal. If I'm wrong someone will tell me.

You are probably correct howether I would be suprised if regs haven't thought of a pir failing, work being carried out months later after owner puts in an extra couple of sockets in and electrician only checking work he has done and pAssing pir .
Any one know?
I Aint got regs At hand?

OSG page 151 "if the inspection and testing reveal that parts of the installation require urgent attention, it would be appropriate to state an earlier re-inspection date, having due regard to the degree of urgency and extent of the necessary remedial work"

not sure if that means you have to re-issue a new report?
