hi guys

I am currently carrying a pir on a office building 5 yrs old
Tested all the circuits for r1-r2 zs rcd times ect but removed the insulation resistance tests as the building is full of it equipment (IT building}

Listed this as our limitations on the report can anyone advise on how the limitations should be worded :confused:

Inspected the Characteristics of primary supply overcurrent device. A Random Sample of Accessories Removed for Visual Inspection of Connections, Ie 20% of Lighting and Power Insulation Resistance Tests Have Been Omitted Due To Sensitivity of the Site, HVAC control cables. Testing of unverified circuits. Has Been Omitted From This Report

thanks in advance

Sounds ok, you need to be very clear and concise about what you have and havn't tested though, particularly where sensitive equipment is present, last thing you want is the blame for 100 P.C's going belly up. Also, dont forget that any limitations must be agreed with the person ordering the work too.

Cheers lenny

Just want to cover my butt & do the job right
