Hi Chaps
Can anyone help, at a job the other day the customer asked if he could have his two PIR controlled security lights connected so that if one sensor was activated both lamps would light, the lights would need to be wired in parallel and i thought i could achieve this using the L1 terminals and a length of 3 core and earth , however my theory only worked one way and i never had time to play around with them .
Has anyone done this before ? can it be done ? If the internal wiring of the lights need adjusting does anyone have a diagram and a solution ?

try google "CPC." GJD Security lighting. 12v pirs wired in alarm cable to central control panel, up to 4 500w floods. any pir activating switches on all lights: audible buzzer, manual override. The controller is "emerald" and the detectors "opal"

Thanx for that , the lights are on the same side of the building about 25m apart, the client wont change the fittings (expense ) so it was only a thought i had , dont want to mess to much.

That will work fine as long as the Pirs use relay switching, some don't.
