Don't know if I'd go quite that far. I don't like putting fridges, freezers and cookers on RCDs. Everything else, no problem.

When you buy a new car, do you ask the dealer to remove the airbags? (saves weight and reduces fuel consumption afterall)

RCDs are life-savers. Simples!

no, but i'd get them to remove the stupid engine management system that's only real purpose is to make oodles of cash for the garages when the warning light comes on or the camshaft sensor goes -----up. i have my own engine management system, universal to all crs, all models. it's called " my right foot"

lol nice one Tel , im a bugger for PIR's i hate code 4's reason is jo public , we are always being reminded to push for RCD ,ESC etc regs , when you code 4 Jo public doesnt know what it means just it doesnt comply with the regs, but if you code 2 requires improvement then in my eyes a bathroom should be RCD protected as its a high risk area so a requires improvement will suffice plane and simple for jo public to understand ,it needs improving so we'll get it done ,so the installs safer and potentialy saving a life , if im not mistaken code 4 will be gone soon with the amendments so ill be happy lol

Thats was my way of reading things. Lets face it, how many customers are going to get someone in to rectify the code 4's unless you're there doing other stuff for them?
